I am very glad that I found Townes and Townes. I knew I needed extensive work on my teeth, but it took me years to find a dentist I can trust when I moved to Gloucestershire.I have had a fair bit of work done on my teeth at Townes and Townes over the years. Dr Phil Towne talks me through the procedures, gives me options, is honest about outcomes, listens to me, gives good advice, and I am truly content with the dental work he has done for me.The dental surgery has a hygienist on the premises, and a good network of dental experts. For instance, I was invery good hands when I did have to go to Towne and Towne's recommended implant specialist In Bristol. All in all, I am very happy with Townes and Townes.

Excellent, friendly, efficient service. After leaving my previous dentist in Stroud I was able to get an initial appointment within a few days and, incredibly, another appointment for my badly needed filling the day after that! So, my advice to others would be, go somewhere else and leave these guys to me 😊

The receptionist, Jackie, is friendly and welcoming. She will sort everything for you with care and efficiency. My dentist, Dr Barbara Townes is an angel in disguise, she gives pain free treatment. She is caring, efficient, explains everything and is super talented. I can’t recommend her high enough. She is simply the best. Lovely surgery, lovely people.

Superb small personal dental practice. Dentists and hygienists are of the highest standard. Such a warm relaxing welcome from all staff. Dental checkup with Barbara was extremely thorough. Attention to detail picking up on any improvements I could make to me self caring for my teeth and mouth. Hygienist Chloe was also thorough checking all aspects of my teeth and mouth. Chloe was mindful of my sensitive teeth and her treatment was free of any discomfort making me feel relaxed and reassured. I highly recommend this dental practice

Going to a new dentist is always very stressful but my experience with Townes and Townes in Storehouse was excellent right from my first call to the surgery when the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. My dentist Mr Philip Townes is extremely competent and was great at telling me what to expect throughout the treatment. I would definitely recommend this dental practise.

If you are nervous of dentists I understand I use to be too but I have been with Townes and Townes for 15yrs let me assure you Philip and his team will put you at ease they are professional people you will feel verry relaxed due to covid 19 I felt verry safe as you would expect with the new procedure that have been put in place to keep you safe there

Always feel special at this dentist even though he got a lots of people. Always explain what he going to do. And makes you feel at rest during treatment . Well done to all the friendly staff as well . Even with all going on with covid 19. Its still a 5 star from me.. Now we are in 2024 its still a 5 star treatment. Got a bit more expensive but you pay for good treatment and service . Well done to all. Even after my last treatment on 3rd December still all the above still stand on treatment and knowing what Phil us going to do and good job done.

Being a nervous wreck even considering the thought of sitting in a dentist chair, didn’t give me too much scope, especially as time had passed since a bad experience 10 years prior. as time went by, the pain I was experiencing through cavities and abscess was getting ridiculous. I had to find a dentist that would appreciate and embrace my difficulties, and oh wow did I… initial consultation with Phil, extremely thorough and continually walking me through what was going on.. I needed 3 teeth extracted which made my heart skip a beat, but when I was then introduced to Barbara, Phil’s wife, she put me at ease immediately. Followed up with an appointment a week later for my first tooth extraction. Barbara was simply perfect.. caring, gentle, chatty, just amazing in every way.. I’m now actually looking forward to my next extraction, probably a crazy thing to say, but my fear has lessoned so much thanks to these guys.. thank you so so much for just being you and being amazing and understanding.

Townes & Townes is a lovely little practice in Stonehouse.There is parking opposite and if you are unable to get a space outside there is a large free car park just a short walk up the high street.I have been going here for about 20 years now.Phil and the team are all really friendly and make you feel welcome and put you at ease.I know many people that come here too and say exactly the same.If you are looking for a local, professional, friendly and affordable dentist look no further.

Phil is easily the best dentist I have ever been to. He takes the time to explain the options for treatment, cost and likely outcomes, and there is no pressure to decide in a hurry. Just had a tooth filled by a very skilled and gentle dentist, hardly felt the needle going in for the local anaestetic. Makes visiting the dentist as enjoyable as it can be - would happily recommend to anyone!

I'm so glad to have finally found a dental practice that you can tell actually cares about you and your wellbeing! every visit is like a school day as they provide you with as much information as you want, they don't rush they take there time they keep checking in to see how your doing and ive never known a dentist to be so cautious with pain levels (and ive met a few), my last visit was 2 fillings in 1 go and I honestly did not feel a thing these guys are amazing and are truly helping me with my fear of the dentist that I never thought was possible! I highly recommend these guys especially if going to the dentist creates anxiety! 🙂

For a start, Philip Townes is an excellent dentist, taking both care and pride in his service to our teeth.But what I so appreciate is the time he gives each of us, carefully explaining the situation, setting out the choices and most importantly, covering the different costs related to these options, a topic that surprisingly is not often so explicitly mentioned.A shout-out to Sinéad as well, the hygienist, who uses my annual cleaning session as an opportunity to show me the areas I miss and the best techniques to use to get at these. My teeth are in so much better shape having taken on board her "lessons."Such a great team!

Philip and the whole team at Townes and Townes have looked after my teeth for many years now, I would never consider anyone else to look after my dental health. I recently had a “disaster “ when having a wisdom tooth removed by the NHS, it almost needs such a difficult time to fully appreciate just how caring and professional the team are, their care, compassion and commitment quite simply got me through the aftermath of the NHS. We should not have to pay for high quality dental care but it is really worth every penny.

This is a lovely homely surgery. Everyone is so nice and helpful. All mod cons which helps the patient to understand what exactly is going on and all procedures are explained in detail. A very caring and empathetic Practice. I am disabled and every effort is made to ensure I can use a downstairs treatment room.

I have been going to the 'Townes ' Practise for many years & always feel as if I am going into a warm & friendly place! From the smiling face in reception onwards I feel cared for. Examination & treatment is always thorough & well considered with good explanations. I have never been kept waiting a significant time .This week I attended for my hygienist appointment. As usual she was thorough kind and efficient. I used to go slightly early to look at the magazines! Covid has put a temporary stop to that.
